WHITE MAHAKALA EMPOWERMENT

White Mahakala is a powerful Deity of wealth and good fortune whose principle activity is to dispel the material and spiritual poverty of sentient beings. White Mahakala emanated from the compassion of Chenrezig in order to eliminate obstacles to prosperity and growth.
Receiving this Empowerment authorizes one to do the Practice of White Mahakala. The Refuge Vow is required and will be offered by Lama-la prior to the Empowerment.
The cost is $30 general ($25 KDC members). It is also customary to make a donation to the empowering Lama.

The practice of White Mahakala bestows wealth and good fortune in all aspects of life and removes spiritual and material poverty. Therefore, due to these special qualities, White Mahakala (Gon Kar in Tibetan) is referred to as the “Wish Granting Jewel”. Doing this practice helps bring forth all that is necessary for fulfilling and enriching our lives.
Participants must have received the White Mahakala Empowerment.
The cost is $35 general ($30 KDC members). The Pecha (practice text) is $10.
You are welcome to bring a lunch and stay during the break.
