May 10 is the anniversary of Kyabje Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche’s passing into the Pure Realms. His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche was the founder of KDC and was a great Master in the Shangpa lineage. Therefore on the auspicious day of May 3, the full moon, Venerable Lama Tsang Tsing and the Western Lamas will perform the “Lama Chö-pa Puja”. This Puja is a special Guru Yoga for the Shangpa Masters, which also contains many prayers and songs of praise composed by the Masters of our lineage.

Please note: For those attending the afternoon session, please bring your Mahakala Pecha, KDC long life prayers and dedication prayers. You are welcome to bring a lunch and stay during the mid-day break. To minimize the Center’s impact on our neighborhood, please park on West Amazon and walk up hill to KDC. Also, due to many people’s allergies and sensitivities, KDC is a fragrance-free zone.
